2. What Data We Collect
- Order data - name, email, phone, delivery address, order contents, payment method (not card numbers).
- Account data - email address and hashed password if you create a client account.
- Communication data - messages you send via the contact form.
- Technical data - IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Collected via server logs and session cookies.
We do not store payment card numbers. Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant gateway and the raw card data never reaches our servers.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process and fulfil your orders
- To send order confirmations and shipping notifications
- To respond to enquiries and support requests
- To maintain your client account
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
- To send marketing emails - only with your explicit consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time
4. Legal Basis
- Contract - processing orders and managing your account.
- Legal obligation - tax records, accounting requirements.
- Legitimate interest - fraud prevention, site security, server logs.
- Consent - marketing emails, non-essential cookies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary:
- Carriers (DHL, UPS, etc.) - name and delivery address to fulfil shipments.
- Payment processors - transaction data only, processed under their own PCI-DSS compliance.
- Accounting software - invoice data for tax compliance.
All processors are contractually bound under GDPR Article 28 data processing agreements.
6. Retention
- Order and invoice data - 10 years (Netherlands accounting law)
- Account data - until account deletion request
- Contact form messages - 2 years
- Server logs - 90 days
- Marketing consent records - until consent is withdrawn
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise any right, email support@moneroasicminers.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with Netherlands Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.nl).
